Client opportunity pipeline / Project case study
2023Recorded work
A broken feed.
A broken record link.
Practical pipeline repairs.
Client opportunity pipeline’s opportunity-review workflow had broken inputs and record links. Noah reviewed its service-specific prompts and repaired feed formatting, linked records and the way nested skills were carried into the review.

01 / Business context
The problem
to solve.
Small formatting errors could stop jobs entering the review process. Correct job details and working links were also necessary for someone to assess an opportunity.
Noah helped adapt an existing team-built system, investigating incoming job data, generated results and the records reviewers used.
Inside the workflow
A closer look
at the handoffs.
Start with the main path and its branches. Select a step for context, or switch to the technical map for implementation detail.
- Historical feed input defect
Execution inspection finds an invisible newline in the RSS URL. - Nested skills mapping defect
The skills field sits beneath a parent structure and needs the correct mapping. - Review-record link defect
The Airtable record-button formula needs the correct job URL expression. - Remove invisible newline
Correct the malformed source URL before rerunning the feed request. - Correct mapping and schema
Map nested skills correctly and refresh fields after schema changes. - Repair the record URL
Correct the link formula so reviewers can open the intended job. - Airtable posts and reasons
The team-built pipeline retains source metadata, reasons and editable drafts. - Review false-negative jobs
Inspect why a suitable job was filtered out rather than silently accepting the result. - Tune service and job examples
Modify examples and service context to account for recurring mismatches. - Editable relevance prompts
Service context and positive or negative job examples define the filtering configuration.
Read the workflow notes
- 01 / Inspect
Trace the failing input
Execution inspection identified an invisible newline affecting the feed URL. The walkthrough distinguished the actual value passed to a module from how that value appeared at a glance.
- 02 / Map
Read the correct level of the output
Skills needed mapping from the correct parent structure before producing a comma-separated value. Schema refreshes were part of making the available fields match the source data.
- 03 / Use
Repair the review record
The record URL formula was corrected, while relevance reasons and editable draft letters stayed in the Airtable review process for a person to assess.
This client adaptation is separate from the opportunity-review engagement described elsewhere in the collection. Shared architecture does not make them one project.
03 / Implementation detail
How it
was built.
The required job information was present, but the integration was looking in the wrong part of it. Correcting the matching instructions alone would not fix that connection.
Service-specific matching instructions remained a follow-up item.
Nick added the GPT-4 component and a teammate built parts of the adaptation. Noah’s review, fixes and coaching are credited without assigning him sole authorship.
04 / Outcome & scope
Result
and scope.
Noah diagnosed and repaired incoming-job formatting, job-detail handling and review links within the team’s adaptation.
They do not establish automatic applications, accepted client rollout, job wins or a measured business return.
